Hammond Cars celebrates second anniversary of opening Ipswich bases

Hammond Cars, a leading East Anglia based "nearly new" car supermarket is celebrating the second anniversary of the opening of their preparation centre and second retail site in Ipswich, Suffolk.

Hammond Cars MD, Mark Skoyles said "We are delighted to be celebrating two years since our Ipswich sites opened. Having been so well established in Norfolk, it was a bold step for us to purchase the retail space on Anglia Retail Park. Since first moving in, we have been delighted by the welcome of the local community and are proud to be based in Ipswich."

As well as opening the new retail site, Hammond Cars also relocated their preparation centre to nearby Whitehouse Road on the site of Jackson Civil Engineering. They are now converting the old Park and Ride ticket office on their Ipswich retail site into office space. The building will then become the Hammond Cars Head Office, housing key business functions including HR and Accounts.

Hammond Cars was established in 1974, trading from their base in Great Yarmouth and has rapidly expanded to become a leading car supermarket, providing nearly new cars at the lowest prices in the UK.

Mark commented "One of our strengths is our no-pressure, customer focused approach to car buying combined with the lowest prices in the UK. Our customers know they can test drive the car on their own, decide how they want to purchase it and can drive it away on the same day. All of this is why we continue to get 5 Star ratings on Autotrader and our customers come back to us again and again. "
